In Antigone Creon is the deplorable saint. All through the story he shows the four heartbreaking legend attributes. He was an individual of high character. Creon was the King of Thebes and he thought he was the most remarkable individual. Creon didn't figure anything could stop him. Pride was Creon's ruin. It lead to the loss of many friends and family that were near him. Toward the end Creon acknowledged he wasn't right. He attempted to fix it yet proved unable. What makes Creon a grievous saint in the story Antigone?      Since Creon was the King of Thebes he couldn't have cared less what others would think or state. Creon thought he was above everybody. He despite everything was a double crosser and due to this he would not get the benefit of being covered. Any individual who buried him would be slaughtered. I have chosen three of the best characters in each film to try comparing and contrasting their personal identity with respect to violence. In the film Requiem for a dream, I will analyze and compare the main character to emulate their importance in the film. Harold Goldfarb is one of the characters that I will discuss in this film. He is a young man who depends on drug deals so that he can get the means to survival (Selby 100). Illegal drugs obsess him , and youthful disfigurement shows through his amputated hand. He is prescribed appetite suppressants because he rarely has appetite for food. In doing Harold, Goldfarb is another character who is a university graduate (Selby 110). He has more knowledge compared to the latter character, but he is very mischievous. He manages to drug his friends Marianne and Tyro ne so that they can escape reality. In a way, the characters want to escape reality of the world even though it is not possible. They use all the ways they think it is possible for them to engage in the fictitious world. Harold manages to become a drug dealer, which is a crucial role in determining the role he plays in the film. The shocking truth is that Harold becomes a major consumer of heroin, and he later discovers that the universe of drug dealers is ruthless and violent. Through out Frank Kafka’s life he wrote many German novels and short stories. Kafka has been known to be one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century. From Kafka’s writing he shows that what we go through influences in our life influences what we write and how we write and that sometimes the things we go through are so hard that we need to write in allegory. He was born on July 3, 1883 in Bohemia. He was born into a middle class German speaking Jewish family and was the eldest of six children. His two younger brothers died at a very young age and his sisters were sent to a concentration camp and were thought to have died there. After Kafka graduated high school, he was accepted to the Charles University of Prague and studied law. This is where he met Max Brod and they became very good friends. They develop an even closer bond when Okonkwo must spend seven years in exile in his mother’s native village. Okonkwo rarely demonstrates his affection, however, because he thinks it makes him look weak. Okonkwo also wishes Ezinma were a boy because she would have been the perfect son. Ikemefuna – Ikemefuna’s father murders a woman from Umuofia. Umuofia delivers a message to the murderer’s village that they must give Umuofia a young man and a virgin or go to war. The offending village gives Ikemefuna and a young maiden. The maiden becomes the wife of the murdered woman’s husband. Umuofia’s clan leaders do not know what to do with Ikemefuna so they give him to Okonkwo. Ikemefuna lives in the hut of Okonkwo’s first wife. He quickly becomes popular with Okonkwo’s children. Capital Account Convertibility-or a floating exchange rate-is a feature of a nation’s financial regime that centers around the ability to conduct transactions of local financial assets into foreign financial assets freely and at market determined exchange rates. It is sometimes referred to as Capital Asset Liberation or CAC. CAC is mostly a guideline to changes of ownership in foreign or domestic financial assets and liabilities. Tangentially, it covers and extends the framework of the creation and liquidation of laims on, or by the rest of the world, on local asset and currency markets. Current account convertibility allows free inflows and outflows for all purposes other than for capital purposes such as investments and loans. In other words, it allows residents to make and receive trade-related payments receive dollars (or any other foreign currency) for export of goods and services and pay dollars for import of goods and services, make sundry remittances, access foreign currency for travel, studies abroad, medical treatment and gifts, etc. Capital account convertibility is considered to be one of the major features of a developed economy.
